Began operations with a contract to partially supply fuel to Gold Fields’ Tarkwa Mine.
Started operations with only one staff member – our current Managing Director.
Secured our first greenfield project contract to design, build, own, and operate a 250,000-litre fuel depot for Adamus Resources Ltd. The facility includes vendor-managed consignment stock, a fuel management system, and on-site personnel to support annual consumption of 12M litres p.a.
Appointed as a Castrol Authorised Distributor for Ghana.
Secured a three-year contract to supply fuel and related services to Ghana Manganese Company (GMC), including the installation of fuel and lubricant storage and dispensing facilities.
Awarded the contract as the sole fuel supplier to Gold Fields’ Tarkwa and Damang Mines – including the takeover and operation of fuel storage facilities across seven (7) distinct locations.
Established a registered office in Burkina Faso.
Began our retail journey with two (2) service stations in Ghana.
Secured a contract to supply lubricants and related services to African Mining Services(AMS), including on-site stock management and consignment support, and completed the installation of bulk oil facilities at the Iduapriem Mine.
Commissioned a state-of-the-art lubricants and fuel analysis laboratory in Tarkwa in partnership with WearCheck.
Expanded our retail network to three (3) fully operational service stations.
Commenced ad-hoc fuel supply, including importation, to Resolute Mining’s Syama operations in Mali.
Secured a contract to supply fuel and related services to Asanko Gold Ghana Ltd (Adansi Mine), including the installation of fuel and lubricant storage and dispensing facilities.
Expanded our retail network to eight (8) fully operational service stations across Ghana.
Achieved ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management Systems.
Successfully launched ZEN Lubricants in partnership with Oryx Energies.
Secured a major contract to supply fuel and related services to Newmont Ahafo Mine in Ghana (36M litres p.a.).
From one, the team steadily grew to 90 – powered by passion and performance.
Expanded our retail network to nine (9) fully operational service stations across Ghana.
Secured a contract to supply fuel and lubricants to Perseus Mining Ghana Ltd – Edikan Mine (30M litres p.a.).
Awarded a contract to supply fuel and related services to AngloGold Ashanti – Iduapriem Mine (25M litres p.a.).
Secured a two-year contract to supply fuel and lubricants to Kinross Chirano Gold Mines Ltd (12M litres p.a).
Awarded the fuel and lubricants supply contract for the Hummingbird Komana Project in Mali.
Won a contract to supply fuel and related services to Resolute Mining at Syama, Mali (48M litres p.a).
Achieved ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management Systems.
Attained BS OHSAS 18001 certification for Health & Safety Management Systems.
Established Ladybird Logistics with 50 women Bulk Vehicle Operators (BVOs), all trained from the ground up, marking a historic milestone as the world’s first innovative all-female logistics fleet– to inspire inclusion and create jobs for Ghanaians.
Became the first Oil Marketing Company (OMC) in Ghana to introduce the supply of Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel, setting new industry standards.
Marked a significant safety milestone by celebrating 1,000 Lost Time Injury (LTI)-free days in April 2018.
Commissioned a state-of-the-art fuel storage depot at Tarkwa Mine with a capacity exceeding 5M litres.
Acquired the largest petroleum storage facility in Takoradi – now operating as ZEN Terminals with a capacity of 33,000 MT – enhancing our strategic infrastructure and supply capacity.
Astra Oil Services, our Bulk Distribution Company (BDC), commenced operations with its first sale to ZEN Petroleum, marking a strong start to its journey.
Reached a remarkable safety milestone of 1,500 Lost Time Injury (LTI)-free days, a testament to our strong safety culture.
Awarded a contract to supply fuel and related services to AngloGold Ashanti – Obuasi Mine (8M litres p.a.).
Opened Ghana’s first filling station designed, constructed, and operated in full compliance with APEA standards – equipped with double-wall tanks, leak detection systems, overfill prevention mechanisms, flame arrestors, oil-water separators, and more.

Secured a two-year contract with ENI to provide bunkering services for their offshore service vessels.
Successfully renewed a two-year fuel supply contract with Chirano GoldMine, strengthening our longstanding partnership.
Established ZEN Transport Limited (ZTL), an innovative transport and logistics company, with an initial fleet of three (3) trucks delivering fuel across Ghana.
Completed a major refurbishment of the ZEN Terminals facility in Poasi, Takoradi, with capital expenditure of approximately US$2 million.
Expanded to over 600 staff, reflecting our growing impact.
Grew our retail presence to 31 fully operational service stations in key locations nationwide.
